Pediatric neuropsychological evaluations for autism, learning disabilities (e.g., dyslexia), ADHD, giftedness, and more.
Where science meets heart to help kids thrive.
I provide neuropsychological evaluations for toddlers through young adults. I am especially passionate about twice-exceptionality, autism, pathological demand avoidance (PDA), ADHD, and learning disabilities. I have a deep understanding of the more subtle presentation of autism and ADHD, including in females. I infuse warmth, humor, and fun throughout the evaluation process. I’m also a mom who gets it. Let me help you better understand your child, so you know where to place expectations.
Does any of the following sound like your child?
Falling behind academically
Difficulty managing their emotional responses
Can think and reason far beyond many of their peers, yet struggles to complete needed daily tasks
Can focus very well on activities they love, but you need to repeat yourself many times to them for simple directions
Struggles to ‘stop and think’ before jumping in
Is struggling to find the peers they connect with and develop lasting friendships
Is ‘holding it together’ at school and struggling with strong emotions once at home
I GET these kids! When the standard parenting and/or teaching strategies just aren’t working, it might be because your child has differences in how their brain is wired (and that’s okay!). From an evaluation, I’ll learn about your child’s areas of strength, areas in need of support, identify any differences in how their brain works, and most importantly, give you a roadmap for supporting your child.
Blending up-to-date and evidence-based assessment tools with a person-centered approach to deliver personalized psychological care. Partnering with parents and caregivers, as well as the child (or teen, young adult) - the child deserves to be treated with respect throughout the process and to learn about their amazing brain, too!
